The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise $25,000 Super Main Event attracted 1,978 entrants, and along with 90 online qualifiers joining the field, 297 players returned for Day 3 action.

One of those was GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu, who was sitting pretty with 5,795,000 in chips. That put him in 39th place among the returning players. Negreanu had good reason to feel happy as his Day 2 experience went well, as shown in his latest vlog.

Unfortunately for “Kid Poker,” Tuesday's action went terribly starting right off the bat when he doubled up Weiran Pu. As reporter David Salituro captured in Level 17 (40,000/80,000/80,000), action folded to Pu in the small blind and he moved all in for 935,000. Negreanu was in the big blind and asked for a count before calling.

"Alright, I have two live cards," Negreanu said as the flop came 1073. The turn was the 6and Negreanu picked up flush and straight draws.

"Five, eight, queen, nine, or spade," Negreanu said, but the river was the anticlimactic 2. "Or a deuce. Womp, womp," Negreanu added as he paid off the double up. Not long after, Negreanu lost another pot, this one to Russia’s Anatoly Zlotnikov, which dropped the pro down to 2 million.

Up at the feature table, a player raised to 240,000 under the gun with the KQand Justin Carey called from the button with the KJ.

Daniel Negreanu then three-bet jammed from the big blind for 1.03 million and the original raiser folded. Carey, who was getting 2:1 on his money, thought for a bit before calling.

"I had no fun today at any point from the start. Once we sat down, nothing about this was fun for me. So tilt."

“If you have two overs you’re in good shape,” Negreanu shared.

“Come on, baby, let me win a flip one time,” Negreanu said hopefully. Unfortunately for him, the proverbial coin didn’t come down in his favor as the 9J4flop paired Carey’s jack.

However, the Qmade things interesting as Negreanu picked up an open-ended straight draw. Unfortunately for the GGPoker Ambassador, the 6river was a brick and his Super Main Event came to an end.

“I had no fun today at any point from the start. Once we sat down, nothing about this was fun for me. So tilt,” Negreanu lamented. He finished in 170th place for $67,300.
